    I. Stainless Steel Sintered Felt Cores:

    The most important filtration media comes form stainless steel fiber sintered felt as the core, while the sintered felt is mainly from stainless steel fibers in diameter of 1.5 ~ 80 microns. These metal fibers are evenly laid out in the 3D structure formation of non woven mesh and after high temperature sintering, fibers are fixed each other, thus carry out as a filtering medium with excellent integrality, uniform filtration, low flow resistance, higher dirty holding capacity and the smallest particle capture. What is more, the porosity can reach above 85%, which is two times more of sintered metal powder filters.

     

    Technical Properties of Stainless Steel Sintered Felt Cores:

    Sintered (fiber) felt, with a minimum filtration rating, the highest accuracy, the best permeability, is widely used in chemical equipment for coal filtration, such as in the production of methanol, acetic acid, ammonia and other chemicals.

    • Competent of high porosity and permeability, resistant to high temperature (up to 1,000° C), acid and alkali corrosion for high-precision filtration requirements.

    • Excellent mechanical strength to withstand the maximum pressure up to 6.9 Mpa, especially suitable for melted polymer filtration.

    • Accuracy: The filtration rate can reach l ~ 100 micron for liquid, 0.1 ~ 10 micron for gas.

    • Diameter: 35 , 62, 65 , 70, 86 , 100 and 140 mm , as well as non-standard custom fabrication.

    • Length: 100 to 1500 mm , as well as non-standard custom fabrication.

    • Connector: Standard 215, 220, 222, 226, as well as threaded, flange, flat head, a flat surface, or on the request.

    • Available in single, multi-layer sintered felt to match the requirements of the most suitable process characteristics (such as pressure deduction, filtration efficiency, particle load capacity, etc.).

     

    II. Stainless Steel Sintered Powder Cores:

    Stainless Steel Sintered Powder Cores are widely used in filtration of polyester, oil refinery, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical products seperation, and water and air filtration.

    In order to obtain good performance sintered metal powder filter media, standard process firstly is pressed the metal powder in a mold into sheet, tubular or other shape and then sintered/formed at high temperature. The medium pore, pore size distribution, strength and permeability of products are depending on the fineness of the metal powder, pressing and sintering process.

    The most common material types are stainless steel and bronze, the others like nickel, Monel, Hastelloy, Inconel, titanium, aluminum and tantalum are used as well.

    Sintered powders are having a deeper filtration property, when the filter reaches at the set pressure, water or gas can be used for a blowback wash in order to achieve the regeneration of the filter and be used repeatedly.

    Stainless steel powder sintered cores, using leading manufacturing processes, are made from selective spherical metal particle in diameter of 0.5 to 100 microns. They are sintered at high temperature after the standard mold pressing through strict control of each steps, so that filters are with high mechanical strength, high temperature and corrosion resistance, even pore distribution and permeability, easy to clean and renewable, weldable and machinable.

    Following ASTME-128, we test pore size of the filter, the powder sintered filter has 10 precision levels: 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40 and 100 microns, corresponding to the average pore size for filter elements.

    • Stable shape, impact resistance and alternating load capacity better than other metal filter materials.

    • Good ventilation, stable separation, especially for high temperature, corrosive gases filtering.

    • Excellent mechanical strength, suitable for high temperature and pressure and corrosive environments;

    • Accuracy: 0.1 to 100 microns (liquid and gas has different filtration rating);

    • Diameter: 20, 30, 35, 50, 60, 70, 80, 135 mm, as well as non-standard custom fabrication.

    • Length: 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 500, 600, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 mm, as well as non-standard custom fabrication.

    • Connector: Threaded (4 ', 6', M20, M30, M40, etc.), 215, 220, 222, 226, flat head type, flange type, flat type.

    • Depending on the filtration requirements, available in all kinds of shapes (plates, sheets, discs, rings, cones, etc.), and with a variety of connector styles.

    • Antimicrobial ability, not play the role of microorganism, no particle shedding, it prevents from secondary pollution of the materials.
